Operations Manager , Fulfillment Center

Overview

In this role you will lead Fulfillment Center operations to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient performance. You’ll manage a multi-shift team of area managers and hundreds of associates, driving staffing, training, and process improvements to meet ambitious goals. You’ll shape best practices across shifts, scale operations for rapid growth, and focus on customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with a clear impact on service levels and delivery speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers and 100-300 hourly associates for inbound operations
• Oversee safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for the shift
• Manage staff according to policies; ensure discipline and performance appraisals
• Meet and exceed operational goals through planning, forecasting, and staffing decisions
• Mentor and develop teammates for career progression; share best practices across shifts
• Drive process improvements and sustain performance in a high-growth, deadline-driven setting

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• Experience leading large contingent workforce programs
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Experience in distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environments
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing employees
