As Lead Systems Engineer, you will drive the maturation and development of Mk0 Radar Modes within the Systems Engineering team, shaping algorithms for the Signal Processor and broader radar operation. You’ll coordinate with EuroRADAR partners and oversee the full lifecycle from mode design to verification, trials, and documentation. This high-visibility role sits at the pace of export-grade radar upgrades, offering leadership opportunities as you guide technical delivery and team growth. You’ll work cross-functionally to close capability gaps and deliver impactful design updates. Responsibilities
- Lead the Mk0 Radar Modes team and manage routemap development
- Oversee radar mode design, verification, and validation
- Plan and support ground and flight trials, and analyze results
- Develop design solutions to address capability gaps
- Present analyses and lead design updates through change processes
- Own configuration and maintenance of models, analysis tools, and documentation
- Coach and develop team members and own the technical design for radar modes
Key requirements
- Engineering/Physics/Applied Maths background or equivalent
- Radar Systems Engineering or Signal Processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of radar principles and signal processing concepts
- Ability to model and maintain complex systems and analysis tools
- Experience delivering data analysis on large datasets
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-influence skills
- Proven supervisory experience in systems engineering
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with technical rigor
