In this role you lead and deliver power systems studies within our Power Systems team to support a path to net zero. You will bid for work, mentor colleagues, and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality technical outputs. You’ll work on diverse studies from steady to dynamic, grid connection support, and protection coordination, applying advanced tools to shape decarbonisation projects. Responsibilities
- Deliver power systems studies and analyses, with emphasis on control interaction studies
- Provide technical and project management leadership to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure high quality of project deliverables, reports and proposals
- Build and maintain key client relationships to win future business
- Lead development and delivery of project proposals and identify multi-disciplinary integration opportunities
- Lead on power systems software proficiency (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, CDEGs, etc.)
Key requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization
- Experience in power systems consulting
- Network of industry contacts and clients
- Proactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirements
- Strong focus on quality and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
