Overview

In this role you will design, implement, and maintain automated tests and the supporting framework. You’ll ensure tests integrate with CI/CD pipelines and validate software across Windows, Linux, and embedded platforms. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise quality, security, and performance, contributing to Edwards’ cutting-edge software products. The position offers a chance to influence test strategy and adopt new tooling in a global, Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using Python and C# for broad coverage
  • Extend regression frameworks for reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Execute automated and manual tests in Azure DevOps and TeamCity within CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to software security improvements and cloud-based development tool usage
  • Develop cross-platform test suites for Windows, Linux, and embedded systems
  • Document testing procedures, results, and best practices
  • Stay updated on testing techniques and industry best practices
  • Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team and with cross-functional partners
  • Support testing and deployment activities at customer sites when needed

Key requirements

  • Proven automated testing experience with test framework development
  • Strong Python and C# programming, OOP principles
  • Hands-on CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and TeamCity
  • Cross-platform software development for Windows and Linux; Linux knowledge advantageous
  • Familiarity with modern development/testing tools and methodologies
  • Experience documenting software architecture and design patterns
  • Ambitious learner with openness to new technologies
  • Agile development experience, ideally Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficient in Git and Azure DevOps repositories
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
