Overview

As a Senior Product Designer in Global Markets, you will shape AI-enabled financial workflows and enterprise platforms. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to translate complex processes into intuitive user experiences. You will drive end-to-end design, contribute to design systems, and explore copilots and intelligent automation to improve decision quality. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on design in a hybrid London setting, offering impact across trading, liquidity, and analytics. You’ll help transform how financial professionals work while advancing State Street’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design for strategic Global Markets initiatives
  • Design AI-assisted workflows to boost productivity and decision quality
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define future-state experiences
  • Translate complex financial processes into user-centered solutions
  • Create user journeys, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Drive adoption of enterprise design systems and reusable patterns
  • Establish design approaches for copilots, agents, and intelligent automation
  • Use research, analytics, and feedback to validate and evolve solutions
  • Contribute to design-to-code practices and modern product delivery models
  • Mentor and support designers across the organization
  • Influence product strategy with user-centered and business-focused thinking

Key requirements

  • 7+ years of product, UX, or enterprise software design experience
  • Experience designing complex workflow-based applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating business impact and product thinking
  • Expert proficiency with Figma and modern design tooling
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design, generative AI, copilots, or agent-based experiences
  • Financial services, capital markets, trading, or investment industry experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively within ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI-enabled product experiences
