Overview
As a mid-senior Product Designer, you will shape Unily’s AI-native platform by designing high-quality, engaging experiences in collaboration with Product and Engineering. You’ll lead discovery, test ideas through rapid prototyping, and elevate visual and interaction craft across omni-channel experiences. This builder mindset role emphasizes user needs, business goals, and hands-on contribution to AI-enabled design exploration. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of UX while ensuring accessibility and design system alignment.

Responsibilities
- Elevate product visual quality through UI, interaction design, and craft-focused execution
- Prototype rapidly across fidelity levels to test direction
- Create user flows and journey maps to communicate design intent
- Lead and contribute to user research to uncover insights and inform direction
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users to validate ideas
- Advocate for user needs throughout development and ground solutions in real insights
- Apply behavioral design to create intuitive experiences considering cognitive biases
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate design exploration and validation
- Exercise good judgment on when to deep-dive versus iterate quickly
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape solutions, not just design execution
- Coordinate with Design Systems to ensure consistency across omni-channel experiences
- Share knowledge, mentor others, and promote UX best practices
Key requirements
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with a portfolio of shipped products
- Clear design taste and high standards for motion, layout, and visual detail
- Experience using AI tools in design processes and contributing to implementation where relevant
- Ability to create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes quickly
- Proven UX design and user research experience in cross-functional teams
- Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research
- Expertise in designing user flows and journey maps for complex products
- Comfort in iterative, fast-moving environments with blurred boundaries between design, product, and engineering
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to align stakeholders
- Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, FigJam, Lyssna) and AI-enabled prototyping/research tools
- Experience with comprehensive design systems and WCAG guidelines
