Overview
In this Creative Design Manager role, you lead a small design team and directly contribute to the creation of high-quality marketing and business development visuals. You balance people leadership with hands-on design work, ensuring outputs align with brand standards and firm strategy. You work closely with Brand and Creative leadership to shape visuals for a broad range of materials, from invitations to digital campaigns. The opportunity combines creative direction with operational impact in a global legal environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor two designers, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery
- Build and manage external creative partners and vendors
- Collaborate with the Creative Media Producer on video visuals and animation
- Contribute to design and production of marketing and BD materials as a working designer
- Translate concepts into visually compelling communications reflecting the firm’s tone
- Design varied collateral (invitations, digital campaigns, websites, newsletters, ads, social graphics, events)
- Develop bespoke typography, campaign graphics, and versatile design styles
- Support brand stewardship with evolving brand and style guidelines
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, BD and events
- Present concepts clearly to stakeholders
- Oversee production processes and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and schedule
- Understand production specs, templates, and technical requirements
- Coordinate with legal/compliance offices on risk and regulatory issues
- Maintain familiarity with GDPR, AML, and Paris Bar regulations
Key requirements
- 7-9 years of professional design experience in professional services, financial services, or corporate marketing environments
- 2-5 years of experience managing designers or creative teams
- Strong portfolio across print and digital for high-end or luxury clients
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom)
- Experience with Figma and UX wireframing concepts
- Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is a plus
- Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint master slides, Word templates)
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Thorough understanding of print and digital production processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred (education)
