Buyer – Raw Materials

Overview

In this role you will guide THG’s raw materials strategy within the Beauty division, partnering with senior stakeholders to invest in suitable technologies and optimize supplier performance. You will drive strategic sourcing, manage vendor relationships, and ensure packaging and supply chain needs are met on time. Your work will contribute to cost efficiency, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across product development, finance, and technical teams. This is a chance to shape procurement for a fast-growing, global ecommerce business.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contractual clauses and manage risk with suppliers
• Partner with internal functions including product development, finance, supply chain and technical teams
• Execute strategic sourcing and select appropriate vendors
• Communicate contractual risk and opportunities to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve cost and productivity through supplier management
• Focus on supply chain management to ensure right packaging, timing, and availability
• Complete tenders and perform commercial analysis to report savings and business impact

Key requirements

• Experience in procurement with raw materials preferred
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset
• High level of commercial acumen
