Overview

In this senior Finance leadership role, you will oversee the Bank’s regulatory reporting function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant submissions while maintaining strong governance and data integrity. You will provide technical and strategic leadership across regulatory and prudential reporting, collaborating with Finance, Risk and Treasury to address evolving UK requirements. The role offers scope to shape regulatory reporting strategy and drive improvements in controls and automation. Responsibilities

  • Lead the regulatory reporting function to ensure complete and timely submissions
  • Oversee submissions to PRA, Bank of England, FCA and other regulators
  • Maintain oversight of COREP, FINREP, capital adequacy, liquidity, leverage, large exposures and related returns
  • Ensure regulatory returns are reconciled to financial records and source systems
  • Maintain documentation, methodologies and audit trails for regulatory submissions
  • Identify and remediate emerging reporting issues and control deficiencies
  • Coordinate prudential assessments (ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar 3, Recovery & Resolution Planning) and related stress testing
  • Drive regulatory reporting transformation and automation initiatives
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and governance committees on regulatory developments and reporting implications
  • Provide leadership and development for the regulatory reporting team
  • Ensure data integrity, controls, and governance across regulatory reporting
  • Support internal/external audits with timely remediation of actions

Key requirements

  • Significant regulatory reporting experience within a UK-regulated bank or similar institution
  • Strong knowledge of PRA, Bank of England and FCA requirements
  • Hands-on experience with COREP, FINREP, capital, liquidity, leverage, large exposures and related reporting
  • Familiarity with ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar 3, Recovery & Resolution Planning and stress testing
  • Understanding of UK prudential regulation and capital requirements
  • Experience implementing regulatory changes and governance, controls, data quality and lineage
  • Experience with regulatory reporting systems, automation or transformation
  • Ability to collaborate with Finance, Risk and Treasury and engage senior management and regulators
