Overview

In this role you will lead ICIS’s European polyolefins coverage, shaping pricing benchmarks and market intelligence. You will partner with producers, traders and other stakeholders to deliver trusted, independent insights that inform commercial decisions. You’ll interpret market-moving developments and represent ICIS at industry events, influencing the future direction of polyolefins coverage and product offering. You will drive thought leadership and help customers manage risk and identify opportunities in a large European market. This is a high-impact position at a respected market authority with a strong emphasis on credibility and external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead European polyolefins coverage, ensuring high-quality, credible market intelligence and pricing
• Act as the market authority for European polyolefins, monitoring supply, demand, trade flows and pricing trends
• Own and refine pricing benchmarks with independent judgement to reflect market value
• Deliver impactful analysis to help customers understand market developments and manage risk
• Build senior-level relationships across producers, traders, distributors, converters and brand owners
• Drive thought leadership by identifying key themes, risks, and opportunities for customers
• Represent ICIS externally at conferences, meetings, webinars, and industry events
• Shape the future of ICIS’s polyolefins offering, guiding benchmark evolution and product strategy

Key requirements

• Deep expertise in polyolefins, polymers or petrochemical markets with strong pricing and market dynamics knowledge
• Strong commercial judgment and analytical ability to draw clear conclusions
• Experience with pricing mechanisms, benchmarks or market intelligence and their role in decision-making
• Proven track record of building credibility with senior industry stakeholders
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to translate market movements into actionable insights
