Delegated Authority Audit

Overview

In this role you will lead audits of Outsourced Service Providers handling delegated authority within an established insurance organisation. You will shape the audit programme, conduct on-site and remote reviews, and deliver reports that drive improvements and regulatory compliance. You will verify controls and processes to ensure fair outcomes for customers and alignment with contractual obligations. Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and carry out audits of OSPs (onsite and remote) under the Agency Audit Plan
• Prepare fieldwork, conduct on-site reviews, and draft audit reports with clear findings
• Track closure of audit findings and maintain the Audit Tracker in line with guidelines
• Provide independent assurance that OSPs operate in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and best-practice standards
• Identify risks, escalate overdue findings, and communicate remedial actions to management
• Support annual audit planning and reporting to Management Committees
• Collaborate with other business units and external resources on specialist audits
• Conduct due diligence/on-boarding assessments for potential new business partners
• Maintain comprehensive audit records and evidence of testing
• Assist with longer-term ad hoc audit projects and cross-functional initiatives
