Overview
In this role you lead site delivery for D&B, new build and refurbishment projects within Oxford region. You will drive quality, safety and schedule adherence on education, healthcare and commercial schemes, coordinating on-site teams and liaising with clients to ensure successful project outcomes. You join a long-standing main contractor with a strong project pipeline and regional focus. This is an opportunity to shape delivery on high-profile builds while working within a collaborative, execution-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site execution for D&B projects and both new build and refurbishment schemes
- Manage construction teams, subcontractors and site logistics
- Ensure safety, quality and programme adherence on every phase
- Monitor cost control and resource allocation to meet targets
- Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Report progress and risks to senior site management
- Ensure daily site operations align with project plans and milestones
Key requirements
- Ideally degree qualification or other relevant construction qualification
- Experience with reputable main contractor
- Track record on D&B projects
- Experience in both new build and refurbishment
- Experience on projects in Education, Healthcare, Commercial sectors
- First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS
- Full UK Drivers’ license
- Able to commute to Oxford daily
