Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services
• Manage a portfolio of clients with complex needs and build trusted relationships
• Review complex corporation tax returns, group submissions and final tax packs
• Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters and support advisory projects
• Oversee workflow planning, team allocation and quality control
• Support business development through proposals, fee quotes and client tenders
• Attend client meetings including pre‑year‑end and completion meetings
• Identify opportunities for wider advisory work and contribute to regional marketing
• Champion new technologies and more efficient ways of working

Key requirements

• Proven experience in corporate tax within practice
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to research complex issues
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high‑quality work
• Ability to mentor, develop and empower junior team members
• Confidence in decision‑making and managing challenging situations
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and improving processes
