Group Financial Controller

Overview

As Group Financial Controller, you will oversee financial reporting, revenue recognition, and cash management for a fast-growing, PE-backed technology business. You will lead the accounting team, deliver timely financial statements, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making. You will ensure robust internal controls and liaise with auditors and regulators. This role sits closely with the CFO to drive governance and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulations, with emphasis on revenue recognition
• Monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
• Act as a strong communicator and right-hand to the CFO
• Maintain internal controls and risk management practices
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required

Key requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
