Overview
As a Project Manager, you will steer engineering projects from order through delivery, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction. You’ll act as the primary customer contact and coordinate cross-functional teams across Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Operations. You’ll manage risks and maintain clear, proactive communication throughout each project stage. This role offers broad exposure to manufacturing processes and a chance to shape project execution in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will work with experienced colleagues, drive collaboration, and deliver value for customers and the business.

Responsibilities
- Lead customer projects from order acceptance through engineering, manufacturing, testing, and final delivery
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource priorities
- Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams including Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics
- Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as their primary point of contact
- Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, priorities, and timelines
- Review customer specifications to ensure deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements
- Resolve technical and operational challenges with cross-functional teams
- Maintain accurate project information and monitor progress using ERP/MRP systems
- Communicate updates clearly and manage customer expectations during changes or delays
- Identify opportunities to improve collaboration, project execution, and operational efficiency
- Ensure projects comply with company procedures and quality standards
Key requirements
- Experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects
- Experience in rotating equipment, industrial machinery, manufacturing, or similar engineering environments
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong customer focus and relationship building
- Confidence in handling challenging conversations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment
