Overview

In this role you support project delivery within HDR’s Building Engineering Services, coordinating tasks and stakeholder communication under a Project Manager. You’ll engage with engineers across projects, scale coordination across locations, and help drive on-time, on-budget outcomes. You’ll work in a collaborative, employee-owned environment that values inclusion and continuous growth. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project team activities throughout the lifecycle under supervision
  • Manage workload andEnsure deliverables align with budget and schedule
  • Apply quality assurance guidelines and procedures
  • Support client relations and participate in meetings related to marketing, contracts, changes and production
  • Assist with change control and risk management
  • Collaborate with multiple Project Managers and project teams
  • Oversee aspects of small projects or components of larger projects
  • Develop project management and quality management plans
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Operations and Leadership for reviews
  • Prepare and coordinate contracts and sub-contracts
  • Coordinate sub-consultant information and deliverables
  • Schedule and run internal and external meetings and presentations
  • Perform other duties as required

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ project management experience in engineering, construction, or design consultancy
  • Ability to interact with design teams and communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
  • Active participation in employee-owned culture
