Site Engineer – ASTI Banniskirk

Overview

In this role you will support Murphy’s Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework, performing site-based civil engineering tasks and ensuring technical integrity across delivery stages. You will work closely with the site management to resolve problems, ensure contract compliance, and produce accurate survey and as-built records. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and environmental stewardship within EPC projects in the energy sector. This is an opportunity to contribute to major transmission and distribution projects while developing your expertise in surveying, setting out, and site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Accurately set out works and perform dimensional control
• Resolve technical problems at all levels on site
• Conduct inspections per the Inspection and Test Plan and document results
• Produce survey information and red-lined drawings for As-built records
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and in-date per policies and manufacturer requirements
• Carry out construction activities in line with contract requirements and approved procedures
• Provide clear, accurate information to site personnel for duties
• Supervise outputs to ensure environmental requirements are met
• Ensure on-site materials meet specifications and are stored properly
• Assist Site Management to update KPIs, material reconciliation and progress reports

Key requirements

• Degree qualified Civil Engineering or Similar
• Previous experience in an Engineering role
• Experience on construction or civil engineering projects
• Experienced in surveying and setting out techniques
• Sound understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability requirements
