AI Solution Architect

Overview

As an AI Solution Architect within Actonomy, you will lead Frontier AI projects, guiding a team of Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver production-grade AI solutions. You’ll collaborate with customers and senior stakeholders to define architectural principles and drive strategic direction. You’ll manage deployment, integration, and hands-on delivery, turning ambitious AI ideas into tangible outcomes. You’ll mentor a small team, shape product direction through field learnings, and stay at the frontier of AI on the Azure stack. This role combines engineering, consulting, and product thinking to create real impact for clients and your team.

Responsibilities

• Leading Frontier AI projects as the technical lead and directing a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
• Engaging with customers and senior stakeholders to understand problems and set architectural direction
• Overseeing deployment, configuration, and integration of Actonomy products in customer environments
• Providing technical direction, support, and coaching to the engineering team
• Closing the product loop by translating user feedback into product improvements
• Creating reusable deployment patterns and implementation assets
• Driving adoption and value realization for customers through AI solutions
• Staying current with AI developments and Microsoft technologies to share knowledge with team and customers

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering production AI solutions across varied scopes
• Experience as technical lead on customer-facing projects deploying software products or platforms
• Hands-on Python experience and strong familiarity with Azure cloud offerings (SaaS, PaaS)
• Experience building and deploying with modern AI including LLMs, agentic AI (prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, orchestration) on Azure stack
• Ownership of AI product or software project including architecture, estimation, and requirements
• Ability to communicate complex AI designs to non-engineers and negotiate with senior/C-level stakeholders
• Experience integrating solutions with customer systems and data sources and resolving rollout challenges
• Ability to prioritize across multiple major projects and manage deadlines
• Experience mentoring and developing team members and small staff
