Overview
In this role you will lead the day-to-day financial accounting for an international not-for-profit, ensuring high-quality finance service delivery. You will prepare statutory accounts and oversee charity-compliant reporting, while coordinating with UK and international teams to support governance. You will manage external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, contributing to a robust financial control environment. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day financial accounting function and ensure high-quality finance service
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Charity SORP
- Manage the external audit process and act as key contact for auditors
- Collaborate with UK and international finance teams to support financial governance and reporting
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Charity SORP
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
