Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer role in a UK-based consultancy, based in Liverpool, to help establish and grow an MEP offering alongside the Director. You will shape design strategy and contribute to conceptual and detailed mechanical design for projects. You’ll produce drawings, diagrams, schematics, specifications and schedules, and support a growing office team. This position offers rapid progression toward an Associate role and leading your own Mechanical team, within a modern, flexible culture focused on sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Input design strategy and conceptual design for mechanical engineering
• Produce design drawings, diagrams, schematics, specifications and schedules
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers
• Assist in growth and development of the Mechanical team
• Support and implement the company’s sustainability objectives

Key requirements

• Accredited degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Proven ability to contribute to design strategy and concept development
• Experience in producing design drawings, diagrams, schematics, specifications and project schedules
• Experience supporting a team and developing others
