In this Manager role, you will lead high-impact assurance projects for major online platforms within Deloitte’s Digital Regulation Assurance team in London. You’ll translate complex digital regulatory requirements into robust risk assessments and testing strategies, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver clear, actionable findings for senior stakeholders. You’ll shape how clients meet evolving regulations, collaborate across service lines, and drive innovative assurance approaches in a fast-changing digital landscape. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of assurance engagements assessing platform compliance with digital regulations (DSA, DMA, EU AI Act)
• Translate regulatory requirements into risk-based assessment plans and testing procedures
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, evaluate governance and controls, and articulate findings
• Communicate practical recommendations to senior clients and regulators with clear reasoning
• Oversee project management aspects (planning, budgeting, timelines, risks) and ensure deliverable quality
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as SME on Digital Regulation
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations
• Develop innovative assurance approaches to address emerging regulatory risks

Key requirements

• Keen interest in digital regulation (DSA, DMA, Online Safety Act, EU AI Act)
• Experience in internal/external audit or assurance, including planning, scoping, testing of controls, and evidence evaluation
• Proven ability to manage engagements from planning to completion and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to senior stakeholders
• Project management experience (planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk mitigation)
• Mentoring and developing junior team members
• Client relationship management and delivering on time/budget
• Attention to detail with a structured delivery approach
• Independent working style with proactive problem-solving
• Desirable ACA or similar professional qualification
• Experience applying regulatory standards to practical scenarios
• Gen-AI usage experience to enhance delivery (desirable)
