Overview

In this role you will drive the digital transformation of Safran Landing Systems’ manufacturing ecosystem by deploying and refining the Manufacturing Control System across 130+ assets. You collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and IT to ensure data quality, cyber security, and reliable industrial IT. Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain and continually improve the Manufacturing Control System (MCS) across 130+ assets
  • Optimize PLCs, HMIs and databases to ensure data quality and structure
  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality to enable data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with IT to evolve industrial IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity and reliability
  • Support continuous improvement and delivery of new industrial equipment projects
  • Contribute to safeguarding product quality and driving innovation across manufacturing ecosystem

Key requirements

  • Experience in Industrial Automation Technology within a manufacturing environment
  • Programming skills in automation (PLC, ladder logic, HMI/SCADA scripting, SQL)
  • Familiarity with SCADA/Historian (WinCC Siemens), MES, industrial networks and protocols (OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP)
  • Experience configuring network communications (protocols, switches, VLANs)
  • Database management experience (on-premises or cloud)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in IIoT and cybersecurity
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to share best practices within an international network
