Associate Mechanical Engineer

Overview

In this role you support and lead mechanical aspects of projects within an established team, helping to grow the Bristol office. You mentor junior engineers, coordinate with related disciplines, and manage stakeholders while assisting senior managers with commercial and contractual activities. You’ll work on high-profile Net Zero projects, contributing to sustainability-led design and client-facing delivery. Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of assigned project work within a cohesive team
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Coordinate with related engineering disciplines to deliver projects
• Manage internal and external stakeholders
• Support senior managers on commercial and contractual responsibilities

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience mentoring and leading project teams
• Enthusiastic and ambitious
• Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentation
• Ability to lead mechanical elements of one large project or a portfolio of smaller projects
