Overview

You will lead the architectural direction for a fast-growing SaaS platform in wealth tech, guiding the design and delivery of distributed systems. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you shape scalable solutions that align with business strategies and regulatory demands. You’ll champion architecture across the stack, tackle cross-cutting concerns, and advance a microservices and micro-frontend approach for 500k+ users. This leadership role combines technical depth with strategic impact in a high-ambition FinTech environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure architecture supports rapid business delivery against strategy
• Own the design, development, delivery and support of architecture software
• Champion the architecture and challenge propositions that threaten it
• Identify and address architectural challenges
• Agree technical priorities for the architecture
• Design mechanisms for cross-cutting concerns (reuse, integration, consistency)
• Specify components and interfaces in precise terms

Key requirements

• Distributed systems design experience
• Fluent in REST API design
• Familiar with container/automation and cloud tech (Docker, Kubernetes, Hashicorp, AWS)
• Strong CI/CD understanding with multiple daily deployments
