Overview

As a Production Planning Specialist, you will design and implement plans to optimize staffing and capacity across Fulfillment Centers. You’ll partner with FC operations, HR, finance, supply chain, and logistics to drive operational excellence and cost optimization. You’ll analyze capacity data, forecast staffing needs, and uncover trends to inform cross-functional decisions across Europe. This is a data-driven role that shapes how we align people, processes, and timelines to meet customer demand and improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term operational plans to optimize staffing costs
  • Forecast warehouse staffing and capacity metrics using statistical modeling to enable collaborative decision-making
  • Analyze warehouse capacity planning data to identify trends, root causes, and forward-looking improvement opportunities
  • Identify data-driven insights and present recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with global teams across Europe to align planning efforts
  • Support production planning and cost optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with operation, finance and planning leaders to manage lead-time and capacity and optimize labor impact across the supply chain
  • Monitor capacity deviations and drive data-informed corrective actions

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or related analytical field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links)
  • Strong analytical abilities with data-driven mindset
  • Experience with capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or equivalent
  • Experience with operations/supply chain
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including operation, finance and planning leaders
