In this role you support a Lead Lawyer on a high-profile EL/PL client account, handling a varied personal injury caseload from straightforward claims to high-value disputes. You work within a specialist team to progress matters and protect client interests, collaborating closely across colleagues to deliver strong outcomes. You’ll engage in liability, quantum, and coverage issues while developing expertise in defendant PI work. Responsibilities

• Assist with and manage EL/PL personal injury claims
• Handle cases across a broad value spectrum, up to million-pound disputes
• Support strategic management of a major client account
• Investigate liability, quantum, and coverage-related issues
• Collaborate with colleagues to secure favorable client outcomes

Key requirements

• 2-4 years PQE
• Experience handling defendant personal injury claims
• Strong knowledge of EL/PL litigation
• Understanding of coverage disputes or willingness to develop this area
• Excellent communication, analytical and case management skills
• Proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
