Overview
In this role you will lead complex process engineering programmes within Cavendish Nuclear, guiding projects from concept through delivery and commissioning. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. Collaboration with customers and stakeholders will help resolve technical and delivery challenges while maintaining quality and regulatory standards. This position offers hybrid working with on-site days and a clear path to developing engineering capability and impact on nuclear infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage engineering activities across the full project lifecycle from concept to construction and delivery.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to resolve complex technical and delivery challenges.
- Ensure engineering outputs meet quality, safety, regulatory, and technical assurance requirements.
- Develop engineering capability through mentoring, resource planning, and continuous improvement.
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex process-led projects.
- Strong background in chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil and gas, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience managing engineering projects through the full lifecycle from concept and design to commissioning and delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple disciplines.
- Experience applying engineering governance, safety, quality, and technical assurance standards within complex environments.
