Automation Engineer

Overview

As Automation Engineer for trading systems, you split time between trade support and project work, onboarding new brokers/markets and improving infrastructure. You’ll monitor platforms, respond to issues with the trading desk and cross-functional teams, and help scale a high-performance, tech-driven environment. This London-based role offers exposure to open-source tech and fast-paced, demanding operations in algo trading. You will shape reliability and automation in a cutting-edge trading firm.

Responsibilities

• 50:50 rotation between trade support and project work

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ experience supporting trading applications or onboarding in a commercial environment
• strong Linux/Unix experience
• good education
• troubleshooting and debugging skills
• scripting in Python, Ruby or another language
