Overview

In this role, you will lead the design, build, and ongoing evolution of a next‑gen private cloud based on VMware Cloud Foundation to support secure, scalable workloads. You’ll drive automation-first infrastructure and collaborate across engineers, architects, and operations to deliver end‑to‑end services. Your work will strengthen security, resilience, and performance while accelerating modernisation of how we deliver cloud. This is a mission‑critical, on‑site role that shapes a platform used by internal teams and external customers, with a clear impact on risk reduction and delivery speed.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver private cloud platforms using VMware Cloud Foundation
• Drive infrastructure automation via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Solve complex platform challenges across compute, storage, and networking
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and operations to deliver end-to-end services
• Enhance platform security, resilience, and performance at scale

Key requirements

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (VMware Cloud Foundation, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Deep VMware and enterprise virtualization knowledge
• Solid grounding in compute, storage, and networking fundamentals
• Proven automation and Infrastructure as Code experience
• Troubleshooting and infrastructure design expertise
