Conflicts Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support the firm’s risk and compliance framework by focusing on conflicts of interest during client and matter onboarding. You will work within the Business Acceptance team to ensure compliant, efficient onboarding and a high-quality client experience. This is a newly created position that offers a path to specialise in conflicts within a collaborative, supportive environment. You will engage with stakeholders across the firm to balance risk with service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage conflicts of interest processes for new clients and matters
• Support risk management and onboarding activities to ensure compliance and quality of client experience
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to resolve conflicts efficiently
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the firm’s risk framework within onboarding
• Assist in developing best practices for conflicts management in a law firm environment

Key requirements

• Experience in conflict management within a commercial law firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commercial awareness and good judgement balancing risk and client service
• Confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Collaborative approach
• InTapp experience is advantageous but not essential
