Overview

As a Project Manager in AECOM’s London team, you will oversee medium to large-scale built environment and construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery while growing your technical and professional expertise. You will lead client and consultant relationships, mentor graduates, and support bids and business development to help drive growth. The role blends project delivery with people development in a collaborative, cross-functional setting. You will work within a global firm focused on delivering a better world through infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive project delivery to meet time, budget, and quality targets while coordinating clients, consultants, contractors, and team members

Key requirements

• Experience in project management within the built environment or construction
• Strong communication and organisational skills across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership potential and client relationship management
• Passion for delivering high-quality consulting services and acting as a trusted advisor
• Proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable to changing circumstances
• Professional accreditation (e.g. RICS, CIOB, APM) achieved or commitment to achieve
• Ability to support colleagues’ development towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM)
