Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

In this role you will provide mechanical engineering expertise across the full project lifecycle, solving integration and design issues within a cross‑functional team. You will help deliver technically rigorous outputs and engage with customers to drive project progress. The position emphasizes hands-on problem solving, risk management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and technical excellence. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex engineering programs with real impact for key clients.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and technical alignment.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing clear communication and technical insight to support progress.
• Apply procedures, codes, and standards rigorously to all engineering activities for compliance and quality.
• Lead production and review of engineering outputs including calculations, drawings, models, and reports across the lifecycle.
• Identify and manage project risks, contribute to safety assessments, and support continuous improvement through evaluations.

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering engineering activities across the full project lifecycle from concept to implementation.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to complex technical solutions and outcomes.
• Strong experience producing and reviewing detailed engineering documentation (calculations, drawings, reports).
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and customers to resolve technical and delivery challenges.
• IEng/RSci/IMarEng, mechanical/mechatronic engineering delivery, production/manufacturing experience, integration and technical problem solving; EngTech Level 4+ technical delivery experience.
• Project management experience is a must.
