Overview

In this role you will lead large, multi-disciplinary data center expansion programs across EMEA, driving end-to-end execution from site assessment to handover. You’ll coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver on time and within budget, shaping capacity strategies to meet forecast demand. The position offers impact through scalable infrastructure delivery, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to keep AWS data centers running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Decompose large projects into manageable workstreams
• Communicate goals, roles, and outcomes to cross-functional and remote teams
• Travel up to 25% within EMEA
• Deliver end-to-end programs from site assessment to operations handover for Colo, Hybrid Colo & AWS Data Centers in EMEA
• Manage interfaces between internal teams and external contractors/vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Develop and maintain delivery program and project budget; submit Capital Allocation Requests to senior leadership
• Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate to develop build strategies
• Drive continuous process improvement via workflow updates and lessons learned
• Provide regular status updates on key project metrics to senior leadership

Key requirements

• Experience in program or project management
• Experience as a Program Manager in capital projects, physical infrastructure or mission critical environments
• Experience related to design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure or large-scale mechanical and electrical plants
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
