Overview
As an Effector System Project Engineer, you will drive the acceptance, delivery, integration and testing of the DragonFire Effector Sub-Systems. You will manage interfaces with external partners and support the Laser Source integration within the wider system. The role sits within the Effector Systems RMOs, contributing to rapid weapon system development and continual evolution of the DragonFire concept. You will work in a cross-functional environment to balance technical risk and deliver measurable progress. This is a chance to contribute to a deployable LDEW air-defence system on a world-class programme.

Responsibilities
- Interface management with external partner (programmatic and technical)
- Acceptance and delivery of the Laser Source to final assembly, integration and test
- Support functional integration of Laser Source within the wider subsystem
- Project development to evolve DragonFire
- Lead technical work packages alongside experienced PMs to progress and balance risks
- Coordinate sub-system delivery and ensure timely integration and test
Key requirements
- Experience with complex sub-system delivery and integration
- Working knowledge of electro-optical-mechanical systems
- Experience with third-party suppliers and developing technical statements of work (SOW) and deliverables
