AI Manager – Technology Consulting (AI, data and analytics)

Overview

In this AI Manager role, you help clients turn AI ambition into measurable business value. You will work across executive, business and technical teams to identify opportunities, shape practical AI solutions and lead delivery from proof of value to production and scale. You balance innovation with governance and responsible adoption, leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI and data analytics. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive transformation and deliver tangible business outcomes. This role offers impact across major organisations and a chance to shape BIP xTech’s AI and data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define AI, data and analytics strategies aligned to client priorities and transformation goals
• Identify and prioritise opportunities across Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, ML and analytics
• Develop pragmatic AI roadmaps, governance, and adoption strategies
• Build value cases and success measures linking technology investment to outcomes
• Lead client engagements, workshops and solution-shaping sessions with senior stakeholders
• Translate challenges into practical AI use cases and transformation programmes
• Guide the design of enterprise AI solutions including retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, automation, data platforms and cloud services
• Build trusted relationships across executives, business and technology teams; communicate complex ideas clearly
• Lead delivery from proof of value through production and scale with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide architecture direction for AI and data programmes focused on user needs and business outcomes
• Ensure scalable, secure, responsible, production-ready solutions with monitoring and observability
• Manage delivery plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and timelines with clear accountability

Key requirements

• Experience in AI management or equivalent senior tech leadership
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI and data analytics
• Consulting judgement and experience in stakeholder management
• Ability to translate business challenges into AI use cases and roadmaps
• Experience delivering end-to-end AI or data transformation programmes
• Knowledge of enterprise AI solution design, architecture and cloud services
• Focus on security, governance, compliance and responsible AI practices
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across executive, business and technology teams
