Overview

In this role you lead a small autonomous team to design, build, test, deploy, and run AI-enabled, end-to-end software for workforce management, planning, and project delivery in real-world customer environments. You shape technical direction, ensure quality and performance at scale, and directly impact customers by shipping practical features. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into durable solutions, leveraging AI tooling to accelerate value. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of software engineering and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small autonomous team, set technical direction and drive delivery and quality
  • Design and ship full-lifecycle features across front-end and back-end
  • Build and consume APIs and event-driven services connecting data across systems
  • Make performance and scalability decisions under load
  • Engage with customers environments to validate assumptions and feed findings back to the build
  • Document rationale and raise engineering practices
  • Own end-to-end ownership from design to operation

Key requirements

  • Leadership experience and ability to mentor engineers
  • Ownership mindset; shipping iteratively with partial briefs
  • Depth in at least one area (front-end, back-end, data, quality, security, platform or applied AI) and cross-stack capability
  • Customer- and outcome-driven mindset; balance technical decisions with business impact
  • Fluency with AI tools and agentic patterns in real engineering work
