Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) – AI-ready Data Platform

Overview

In this role, you design secure, scalable Cloud & AI Data solutions for enterprise data estates on Azure, guiding engagements from architecture to production. You work with global customers and cross-functional teams to drive value realization, adoption of data platforms, and AI-enabled workloads. You contribute to reusable patterns and ensure workload health, security, and governance. This role offers exposure to multi-geo accounts and AI-powered data transformations within a collaborative iCSU team.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer data estates, AI priorities, governance needs, and success metrics to design unified, governed, AI-ready data solutions.
• Lead architecture design, develop platform roadmaps, and drive POCs, pilots, and production milestones across analytics, database, Fabric, Foundry, Microsoft IQ, and agent-enabled scenarios.
• Own delivery for engagements, coordinating with technical and non-technical roles to meet Azure consumption and customer goals.
• Leverage repeatable IP, templates, frameworks, and agents to accelerate deployment and grow Data share and Azure consumption.
• Manage workload health, resiliency, sovereignty, security, capacity, and optimization for mission-critical data workloads and AI/agent use cases.
• Resolve blockers and adoption issues, feed feedback to product/engineering teams to improve platform readiness and outcomes.
• Maintain advanced proficiency in Fabric, Azure Databricks, Data Governance Solutions, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB and Microsoft IQ; share learnings and mentor others.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms on Azure (Fabric, Databricks, Azure SQL or Azure PostgreSQL)
• Business fluency in English
• Customer-facing experience and ability to drive technical projects
• Relevant cloud/data/AI certifications (preferred)
• Experience with globally distributed customers or stakeholders (preferred)
