Overview

In this role you will drive patient recruitment and retention for trials by translating strategy into actionable plans and coordinating across sponsors, internal teams, and vendors. You will own KPI and budget performance, support process improvements, and represent IQVIA in site and sponsor meetings. The position involves leading operational recruitment programs, risk management, and cross-functional training to optimize study performance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with focus on delivering timely, data-driven recruitment outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Translate recruitment and retention strategy into actionable operational plans for assigned projects
  • Serve as internal consultant to implement recruitment plans on new or existing projects
  • Manage scope, objectives, and quality of deliverables for assigned projects
  • Act as primary operational project contact with sponsor; maintain communication and reporting schedules
  • Manage project budgets to meet financial targets
  • Coordinate project activities to meet milestones
  • Develop and implement risk management plans
  • Maintain knowledge of recruitment trends, vendors, and technologies
  • Support process improvement to ensure quality in the department
  • Execute vendor and patient advocacy group tasks (budgets, PO requests, change orders, invoicing)
  • Coordinate PSE activity updates to data systems (DEICT dashboard, vTMF) and reports
  • Plan schedules for PSE activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to congress/conference planning for R&D activities
  • Share learnings in cross-DU PSE forums/community of practice

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent
  • 6 yrs of relevant industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of drug development processes across functions
  • Knowledge and application of GCP/ICH and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to build working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation software; Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to influence within SPN/PRP team and project teams (TSL, PL, CL, CRA)
