Front End Developer

Overview

In this role you will build cutting-edge front-end applications in TypeScript and React, partnering with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that traders use daily. You will operate in a fast-moving, autonomous startup, prioritising practical solutions that move the business forward. You’ll shape the front-end architecture, develop reusable components and design systems, and continuously improve performance and UX. This is a chance to impact real-world trading workflows and help redefine an old-guard industry with modern tooling. You will work directly with founders and traders, gaining broad scope and rapid growth in a collaborative, experiment-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end applications in TypeScript and React
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship user-focused features
• Develop reusable components, design systems, and contribute to front-end architecture
• Identify UI/UX and performance bottlenecks and implement improvements
• Operate in a high-autonomy startup environment with immediate impact on decisions

Key requirements

• Strong TypeScript and React experience (React 16+)
• Proficient in JavaScript ES6+
• Experience with React Testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme
• Keen design sense and desire to build better solutions
• Understanding of supporting infrastructure: git, microservices, containers
• Comfortable working with numbers and data, with or without trading/finance experience
