Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead and deliver multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects from proposition through construction. You will work with a cross-functional team to plan resources and budgets, mentor junior staff, and produce technical reports and specifications. You will contribute to winning work and shaping project pipelines in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. This is a senior role that combines technical excellence with leadership to drive high-quality infrastructure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of multidisciplinary projects from proposition to construction
• Plan project resources and finances and monitor financial performance
• Lead technical staff, plan workload, and mentor junior team members
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and schedules
• Participate in customer-focused work winning to secure the project pipeline
• Review civil infrastructure design with a focus on Highways, Utilities, or Sustainable Drainage

Key requirements

• Strong technical background in infrastructure design (Highways, Utilities, or Sustainable Drainage)
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects with team leadership and strong communication
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage
• Membership in a relevant professional institution
• Willingness to travel and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
