Overview
As an experienced Employment Solicitor (Professional Support Lawyer), you will strengthen the Birmingham team by shaping know‑how, precedents and resources while staying ahead of legal developments. You will deliver training, contribute to publications and marketing, and support pitches and business development. Your role also includes driving innovation and knowledge management within a market‑leading employment practice. This is a chance to influence client delivery and the firm’s thought leadership in employment law.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance the team’s know‑how, precedents and knowledge resources
- Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory developments in employment law
- Deliver training sessions, technical updates and thought leadership materials
- Contribute to client‑facing publications, alerts, webinars and marketing initiatives
- Assist with pitches, tenders and business development opportunities
- Help drive innovation, legal tech adoption and knowledge management initiatives
Key requirements
- At least 6 years PQE in employment law
- Technically excellent with strong knowledge of employment matters
- Passion for legal developments, training and knowledge sharing
- Strong communication, drafting and presentation skills
- Commercially aware, collaborative and proactive
