Maintenance Engineer

Overview

In this role you will provide engineering and maintenance support for an automated warehouse, ensuring optimal performance of the automation systems. You will work within the site team to conduct facilities testing, plan and execute preventive maintenance, and assist with major breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly. You will diagnose and clear faults to minimize downtime and support continuous flow in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a global logistics leader with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Carry out facilities systems testing regularly
• Plan preventative maintenance on a monthly and quarterly cadence
• Assist with major on-site breakdowns
• Ensure automation systems run smoothly and faults are cleared

Key requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a similar environment
• Good practical understanding of computerised planned maintenance systems
