Responsibilities

• Lead control systems engineering and process control strategy planning for water/wastewater facilities
• Plan automation designs, development of construction documents, and studies with detailed analyses
• Coordinate I&C deliverables with process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
• Design and review P&ID diagrams, network architectures, control panel details, and instrument installation drawings
• Develop technical specifications, instrument datasheets, and control narratives; review electrical schematics
• Support construction with submittal reviews, site inspections, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting
• Assist marketing with pursuit strategies, material development, and subject-matter expertise in I&C
• Ensure safety and health guidelines are followed across projects

Key requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering; 15 years of I&C experience
• Professional Engineering registration (P.Eng.) or ability to obtain within 18 months

• Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration

• Mentorship ability for junior staff
• PLC, HMI, and SCADA system planning, design, programming, and upgrades
