Senior ASP.NET MVC Developer – FinTech

Overview

In this role you will develop and maintain web applications for a FinTech client, with a focus on greenfield projects and usability improvements. You’ll work within an agile two-week sprint cadence and collaborate with a development team led by a Team Lead, with a path toward Team Lead or Development Manager. The role combines hands-on coding with opportunities to influence technology choices and innovation. You will contribute to a high-profile organization serving blue-chip financial services clients.

Responsibilities

• Produce, modify and maintain websites and web applications
• Contribute to usability testing and quality assurance of new and existing sites
• Handle greenfield development and incremental enhancements
• Work in an agile environment with 2-week sprints
• Drive innovation and present usability improvements to stakeholders

Key requirements

• 3-5 years experience in C# and ASP.NET MVC 4+
• SQL Server experience
• Strong Computer Science background
• NHibernate or equivalent ORM
• REST API design experience
• Some automation experience (continuous delivery, PowerShell, Python)
