Overview

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex domestic and commercial subsidence claims from notification to closure, applying diagnosis, mitigation, and repair expertise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and service providers within Sedgwick’s Subsidence Services Division, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of subsidence claims from notification to conclusion
  • Diagnose structural defects and subsidence and apply prevention and repair techniques
  • Coordinate with team members and service providers; communicate with clients with empathy
  • Travel as required using a full UK driving licence
  • Handle insurance claims processes and liaise with stakeholders

Key requirements

  • Driving Licence: full UK licence is essential
  • Chartered building professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS, MICE)
  • Ideally insurance qualification (CILA or CII)
  • Comprehensive expertise in identifying/diagnosing subsidence and structural defects; knowledge of drainage systems
  • Experience in insurance claims handling
