Overview

In this Chartered Building Surveyor role you provide expert survey and advisory services across commercial property sectors. You will conduct building surveys, technical due diligence, and lease reviews, delivering clear, commercially focused recommendations. You’ll manage refurbishment and alteration projects from procurement to completion while advising on dilapidations and service charges. This position offers a strong client-service culture and meaningful impact in property decisions at pace.

Pay / Benefits

• salary 60,000 – 65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial building surveys and technical due diligence assessments
• Produce high-quality reports with actionable commercial recommendations
• Review leases and related documents to identify liabilities and risks
• Advise on landlord and tenant matters, including dilapidations and service charge expenditure
• Oversee refurbishment, repair, and alteration works from procurement through to completion

Key requirements

• MRICS qualification
• Proven experience in commercial building surveying and technical due diligence
