Overview

As a Health & Care Regulatory Associate/Senior Associate in Bristol, you will handle a mix of advisory and contentious matters within a large, established practice. You’ll work on health, social care, education and housing sector issues, collaborating with a broad specialist team to support clients. The role includes advocacy at inquests and regulatory proceedings, plus client development and mentoring of junior colleagues. Responsibilities

• Manage a broad mix of advisory and litigation matters
• Represent clients at inquests, Court of Protection hearings and Tribunals
• Advise on regulatory, health, social care and education issues
• Lead pre- and during-inquest work including advocacy
• Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to team development
• Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in health and social care law
• Strong experience advising on inquests and conducting advocacy
• Confidence working with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Excellent technical ability, organisation and attention to detail
• Proactive, commercial and solutions-focused mindset
• Enthusiasm for developing skills and taking on new challenges
• Experience contributing to business development
