Overview

In this role you will own the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of internal infrastructure applications within JPMorganChase’s Data Center Services. You will bridge strategy and execution as Product Owner, shaping backlog and coordinating with engineering teams to deliver on commitments. You’ll partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate roadmaps into tangible improvements that support global infrastructure reliability and scale. This is an opportunity to influence platform alignment, drive value, and contribute to a mission-critical, enterprise-wide technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy across a portfolio of five or more applications with clear vision, priorities, and success metrics
  • Build and manage a structured backlog and roadmap balancing new features, tech debt, and operational improvements
  • Act as Product Owner: write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria; drive sprint scope decisions
  • Lead agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) to maintain delivery momentum
  • Engage broad stakeholder community, gather requirements, map journeys, and align priorities across business, technology, and operations
  • Partner with Engineering Managers to align capacity with priorities and resolve blockers
  • Define and track KPIs and OKRs; use data and feedback to inform prioritisation
  • Conduct structured discovery (journey maps, surveys, research sessions) to feed backlog decisions
  • Advocate for usability, quality, and value in every delivery
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and investment cases for the Data Center Services portfolio
  • Build relationships across JPM technology and infrastructure to identify collaboration and reuse opportunities

Key requirements

  • Formal training in a relevant discipline with combined product management and product ownership experience
  • Experience defining and managing product strategy and roadmaps across a portfolio of apps
  • Hands-on Product Owner experience with backlog ownership and day-to-day prioritisation
  • Strong experience facilitating agile ceremonies and maintaining delivery momentum across multiple teams
  • Proven stakeholder management and ability to influence across business, technology, and operations
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable backlog items
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
