Finance Projects Analyst

Overview

In this role you drive data-informed improvements across finance transformation, governance and operational excellence. You’ll link Finance, Procurement and Shared Services to orchestrate workshops, track progress and deliver efficiency gains. You’ll create dashboards and analytics to support senior stakeholders and step in for the Senior Operational Finance Manager when needed. This hybrid, collaborative environment values initiative and cross-functional impact. You will help shape better financial processes that empower the group to perform at scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics for finance transformation, governance and process improvement initiatives
• Analyse financial and operational data to inform project delivery and decisions
• Develop and maintain project tracking, reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders
• Support finance governance, controls and approval frameworks
• Coordinate workshops, communications and activities between Finance, Procurement, Shared Services and business stakeholders
• Identify efficiency improvements and deputise for the Senior Operational Finance Manager – Projects when required

Key requirements

• Finance experience with a recognised accounting qualification (or working towards one)
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Advanced Excel with large datasets experience
• Competent Power BI user for reporting and dashboards
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• GNFR or financial control experience is advantageous
• French language skills beneficial but not essential
