Overview
In this Enterprise Architect role, you shape technology direction to support asset management strategies. You will bridge business, investment leadership, and technology to drive coherent target states across major change programmes. You own the enterprise architecture artifacts and guide delivery through governance, principles, and roadmaps. AI is a growing focus as you identify where it can transform system design and evolution. This position offers hybrid London work with a collaborative, high-impact team.

Responsibilities
- Own business capability maps, target-state architecture, and the enterprise technology roadmap.
- Ensure change programmes align to a coherent strategic destination across the portfolio.
- Define architecture principles, standards and guardrails and embed them into delivery.
- Translate strategy into practical guidance and maintain alignment between strategy and delivery.
- Challenge platform strategy with senior stakeholders to resolve competing requirements.
- Lead technology assessments and vendor RFPs with a business-architecture perspective.
- Identify architecture gaps, dependencies and blockers; drive resolution proactively.
- Drive AI adoption across the architecture function and identify opportunities for impact.
Key requirements
- Significant experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior transformation roles.
- Experience in Asset Management or comparable financial services with knowledge of sector vendors and tech landscape.
- Strong grounding in business architecture including capability modelling, target operating models, and value stream mapping.
- Strong influencing and facilitation skills; credible with business, investment leadership, and other senior stakeholders.
